"INVESTORS", Opportunists and Those That Can Afford To Do Whatever & Not Care About It.

There is constant talk about “bringing in big investors“, “angel investors”, “mega millionaires”.
So you mean another Justin CCP Sun type of character?

Because you never know what you will get when you have mega investors jump in and take over the show.

Even if the mega big investor is a fair dinkum type of character, that person will be in charge and will have the final say.

How?
DPoS.

Now, I’m not saying that DPoS doesn’t work, it does. What I am saying is that DPoS works best when the “S” of the DPoS is spread out, dispersed, totally diverse.

For that to be ensured, the distribution of HIVE and HBD needs to be staked by multiple investors.

Why Investors?

Well, same as with the “billionaire investors”, maybe even more so, the smaller investors have a lot to lose. The obvious difference being that “the billionaire” can write off something as a loss for tax purposes, while the smaller investors can’t.

So Who do we want as far as “investors” are concerned?

The answer to that question is all yours, not something that I or anyone else has the right to “tell you what to think”. You as the unique individual that you are need to make up your own mind on that.

Now, I do take into consideration that “traders” see themselves as “investors” too.

When they hold a larger amount and wait for the right moment to sell.

I am not a fan of this type of “investing” as it actually isn’t investing long term, nor is it “Stake”. Stake is the one and only form of “investing actual crypto” in DPoS.

While investing into the ecosystem can be any form of actual funds that are invested into building the ecosystem.

i.e. Building apps, extensions and other forms of tools that add value via use cases for the native crypto coins and the blockchain.

Think about that, sleep on it. It is actually common sense.

Who is actually “investing”, who is “buying crypto only to resell it”, who is “building the ecosystem” and who all can afford for a take over or a tax write off?

I leave this here, for you to read and chew on.

Yours truly

Still the same ol witness that says it as he sees it!
