Newbies make mistakes. I don't like the folks who immediately blacklist someone for such errors. Only repeated blatant abuse or misbehavior after receiving helpful advice and warnings warrants downvotes in my opinion. But sometimes people running community pages are extra-aggressive because they want to uphold higher standards.
It's also one thing to DV an offending post, and quite another to blacklist someone and zero out every post and comment they ever make. I see that latter every day here, and it's kryptonite to our superpower.
I reserve that for only the most unrepentant of abusive people. And I'm even relaxing my campaign against the BPC farm now that their spam flood has lessened. They seem to be switching from the long tirades to basic "support my token" nonsense. I can let that slide. Caveat emptor.
We all fudged the pudge at some point in time. The old adage - He who is free from sin cast the first stone.
