The heart of the Uttara district of Dhaka is where one can find a unique food establishment that has probably caused loads of stomach explosions for residents and tourists alike. Instead, you will step into the cozy e Cuppar, which stands out among other dining places as the best place to treat your palate to a variety of tasty treats, most of which have been praised to high heavens as the best of the best within the city.
As I hop on the culinary endless bus to Grab e Cuppar, my anticipation kicks in yes, I can hardly wait to explore the exciting offerings in store. Man’s menu spanned from tongue-tickling delights to thrilling luxuries with its spectacular bouquet that could only be relished.
First of all, during my gastronomical journey, I found myself unstoppably coming back to a comforting bowl called Chicken Ramen, which was designed to not only provide comfort both for body and mind, but also for soul. While taking a spoonful with my first bite, the air was attuned with freshly made broth bearing an abundance of the combined flavors of tender chicken and the delightful taste of spices. For each slurp, I was in a lane of fulfillment and cusinary bliss, silently everlastingly journeying to a world of comfort and completion.
Then I end up tasting the ‘Tom Yum’ soup, a Thai-like dish, with bold taste and generous aromas. Every time I took a bite, I was transported to a world of melodious lemongrass, refreshingly zesty lime, and gently-warming chili. I would bathe in a symphony of flavours until a delicate reminder of their harmony swept over my palate.
Tasting the Corn and Cheese Dumplings of Grab e Cuppar is considered my main sensation when having any kind of food adventure. Crunchy dumplings have their share of indulgence, filled with mouth-watering combination of crème cheese and sweet corn, which is so delightful. Every time I took a bite, I felt a harmonious blend of my senses, and this was a proof of Grabs es Cumpar's talented staff.
Though, definitely, no wonder at Grab e Cuppar would be considered complete without of course being stuffed with their exceptional sweets. The pudding- like and creamy texture of the Affogato, when combined with the bold espresso and the rich white vanilla ice cream made for, in my opinion, a decadent treat. Instead, each spoonful reacted differently in my mouth, that is, hot and cold, bitter and sweet; thus, the sensory balance was simply thrilling to me and made me demand more.
While exploring how the tasteful journey progressed, I tasted the Omni-the Hot Chocolate that melts me with its rich cocoa taste and optimistic cream pastry. My taste buds were dancing along to the three-layered chocolate cake and red velvet cheesecake from Grab e Cuppar courtesy of the chocolatey delightfulness and sublime creaminess in them, which culminated in my “grand finale blissful satisfaction.”
Finally, my culinary journey at Grab e Cuppar did not fall far from perfection as I could describe it. Savory thrills or sweet reckless, every dish appropriated the culinary mastery and determination of the Grab e Cuppar's chefs. Being now at the egress of this gastronomical haven, despite I will be leaving behind all those moments and foodie hobbies, I am more enriched and mesmerised by the unending artistry of food.
