Its been a long time since I last heard songs in spotify, or on YouTube .. I only listen to music when I m driving, and because my car is a bit old, it only has radio : )
Today I thought I really miss my music, I miss my movies so I really got to come up with a plan.
I also suddenly realized that it's been so long and I still have not even checked the new app scrobble.life
How are all the above connected?
Scrobble Life is
A browser extension that tracks what you actually listen to and watch - across Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Netflix, Disney+, Max, Prime Video and more - and stores it forever, immutably. The history is yours. The discovery is behavioral. No ads, no pay-to-play, no platform cut.

I have some computer issues so for now I will not download the extension, but I will check out connecting with Keychain.
Let's see what else there is to do, but before that - we see some great numbers shared. Are you one of these?

Scrobble works in 4 steps

After the extension is installed, even without account, it writes scrobbles on music & videos
For movies, TV series, books etc, you will need to sign in using gmail or your hive account.
What will happen in the future?
At the moment, we are at phase 1, the foundation of the platform.
There is a lot to follow, you can check out the plans below.
Privacy, tipping, Desktop app and AI agents, and ultimately scaling is in the making.
Im excited!

You can also find a chat if you connect your hive keychain
After you sign in, you can explore what others are listening to (discover some new pieces) and find your way into the leader board!
Have you used the app?
Let me know your thoughts!
p.s. I asked Gemini and this is the answer I got .. so i guess that it is already getting out in the open!

hey thanks for checking it out!
The inside is very impressive, I ll use it some days before I write about that part :)
Thx for a really cool app!
a lot being built while trying to build many other things at the same time :D
Very interesting, my friend. I've been checking it out too, and it's an excellent site. I use it to write my movie reviews and take screenshots of my favorite films. I've already uploaded several reviews; it's a fantastic site. You should do a review of the First Context site as well; I'll be waiting for it. You're very good at summarizing information.
