For anyone looking for an easy route to get funds from Hive-Engine to and from Coinbase without insane transfer fees, here is one way that works pretty well.
When it comes to onboarding here on Hive, I wonder how easy it is for the Average Joe to get into crypto. It is harder than we think. Even for those of us that are already interested, it is often a headache to figure out new crypto tools and tricks. Time is money, and most people will bail quick instead of dropping into their own online how-to research.
Perhaps this note regarding Coinbase and Hive-Engine could assist someone trying to get involved.
I had stored some Swap.BTC on H-E, not much, and I was wanting to finally test out an easy way to get ahold of it if I wanted.
Ignorant and hopeful I checked the most simple avenue--the Withdraw feature--Withdraw BTC. Simple.
But.
Fees.
Same with Swap.ETH.
(BTC also has a minimum withdrawal amount.)
So I checked the trusty old LTC.
And yup.
It appeared doable.
So I checked Coinbase to be sure. I know they support LTC, but some coins they "support" are actually wrapped ERC-20 versions of that coin, or something similar per chain. One cannot actually send their coins there successfully if this is the case, from what I understand.
LTC appeared legit on Coinbase.
I thought it would since it is one of the original three coins to which Coinbase offered access.
Regardless, the fees are low.
When I tried it, liquidity was sufficient.
I would double check that again if I tried this again.
Easy Steps (Hive-Engine to Coinbase)
▪️Sign Into Hive-Engine
▪️Trade for Swap.LTC
▪️Click "Withdraw" at the top of the Wallet page
▪️Select LTC (to send your Swap.LTC)
▪️Enter your Coinbase "Receive" Address from your CB Wallet
▪️Send On
▪️LTC will arrive in your CB Wallet shortly (instead of Swap.LTC)
Perhaps this is too obvious, but sometimes it helps me to find a post from someone who just did it (whatever it is) and can verify the attempt wasn't a waste of time.
Be well.

Good to know, I was wondering how to do it - and funnily enough when I transfer between other sites (never transferred to/from Hive before) I also tend to use LTC - easy, cheap and fast. Many thanks !
