On the 8th of January 2024, we started the second edition of the Liotes Power Challenge. The idea is to stake as much Hive power as possible during 2024. The more you power up, the more rewards you will earn.
The reward pool
The @liotes.one account is the reward pool of this challenge. The income of this account is powered up and delegated to the liotes.voter account. This generates daily dividends in the form of LEN tokens. At the end of the challenge, in December 2024. All the LEN tokens will be distributed to the participants. The staked hive power will stay and continue to earn tokens for next years challenge! This means that next year the rewards will be much bigger!

How will the reward pool be distributed?
The total amount of the pot will be distributed to all the people who have a positive sold in Hive Power. The amount that each participant receives will be according to the ranking. The higher your rank, the more you will earn.

We are finally growing again!
During the first months, throughout the whole community there was more Hive Powered down than powered up. However, we have finally managed to turn this around. At the beginning of this challenge, all participants together owned 1'237'335 HP. Today, we collectively own 1'242'393 Hive Power. This is an increase of 5'058 HP over the first four months of 2024.
Only 10% are powering down
Of the 73 people that are ranked, only 7 have a negative evolution of Hive Power. This means that 65 people have increased their hive power since the beginning of the year!
We encourage everybody to power up Hive to grow their stake and their influence on the chain. Also it will help to scale the income in the long run!

It's good to still have positive results at this time with everyone having different strategies.
During the first month we were decreasing the combined HP but now we are higher than at the beginning of the year. It's nice to see I believe :-)
Yes, I noticed that. I still think people apply different strategies, that's why we saw big power downs at the beginning of the year, now a slowdown, and probably another wave of powerdowns later on.
10th place is not bad, but I think I can do better, I'm clearly not in my best form at the moment. I will increase my Power Up amount at some point. Good luck to everyone!

There are many things you can do with the LEN tokens. You can either sell them on the hive-engine market or in the diesel pool LEN:swap.hive. You can also swap them for LENM in the LENM:LEN diesel pool. Then you can stake LENM that will pay you LEN tokens on a regular basis. You can also provide liquidity in the LEN:LENM pool and earn tokens (CTPSB, swap.btc, LEN) on a daily basis.
That's a lot of information for me... I'll take it step by step. I'll start with the delegation. (see previous questions about it) and when I've got my LEN(M) tokens from this (?) we'll take it again from there if that's ok with you?
