To say any change needs to come from me is absurd when Hive is run by 20 or so people who
Im going to reveal something.... thats not true. Hive is not run by anyone in the way you think it is.
There is no one you can tell your concerns to for them to change them, everything you wrote here, me setting aside you calling me arrogant, I gave a positive response to and even said I am implementing something like that where I can.
No one dominates anything here.
Man, I really can't tell who you are kidding but I know dozens of great hivers who all say the same thing and then there is you. Not difficult to figure out who I believe, not least cos your own actions demonstrate how unpleasant and unwelcoming senior hivers are.
Finally, I did not call you arrogant, I said "This arrogance and complacency is the root of Hive's problems and I expected better from you, but you seem to be just the same as them". Seems like I was as wrong about expecting better as I was believing Hive actually is a welcome and welcoming decentralised social media platform rather than a whale enrichment project.
If it wasnt for Splinterlands and a small number of decent people I have met on Hive, I wouldn't waste my time with any of it or any of you.
You can believe whoever you want. If they say theres a shadow government and people in control, im sure thats more comforting to believe.
Im sure that makes it weird seeing me saying that we need more structure. So either im trying to fool you or your friends are wrong.
Whatever you want to change, it has to come from you. Or you can start targeting individuals 1 by 1 and try and have them fix the one small thing they work on personally. There is no one to fix everything. definitely no one to do everything you listed there.
It is really hard to follow you as your grasp of logic and reasoning is frankly weird, however what I know to be actual fact is that you have been nothing but rude, hostile, and dismissive from the very first minute I reached out to you, whereas others I have met have been nothing but kind and supportive.
Saying "Whatever you want to change, it has to come from you" is either you can't see the wood for the trees, total bullshit, or just a blatant lie, so whether you are kidding yourself or me is kind of irrelevant as all it does is prove that trying to engage with Hive in any kind of meaningful way is utterly pointless. Well done on that... 😒
Come on dude. Are you really desolving this into the "youre mean" argumentation. And you started so well with the initial comment which I tried giving a thumbs up in terms of this one thing i can affect.
I dont sugarcoat stuff, i dont need you to like me, im just telling you what the reality of Hive is.
Whatever you want to change has to come from you or do what I told you to do which is again you doing something. Onchain comments rarely or never do anything.
This applies to me, the stuff i want to change, that i can realistically change I try and change. And i know what the scope of that can be. Its definitely not everything you wrote there because I know I cant do thise things.
Whats the point of me praisinf your comment, saying, YES I AGREE!. Id be doing you a disservice. Taking you for a fool when i know that you are taking time, putting effort to write what you wrote.
Obviously you care, so i wanted to treat your effort with respect of telling you the truth. And the truth i have told you.
"Whatever you want to change has to come from you" This is complete nonsense!
Nothing happens on Hive without the support of a tiny minority and, as the absurd waste of money in the DHF and the VP show us on a continuous basis, they support themselves and their pals, and have no interest at all in anybody else or the wider good.
You may have told me your subjective truth but the actual reality is completely different.
In practice, anything meaningful has to be backed by twenty whales. I have reached out to more than half of them to try to gain support for a plan that would transform Hive, both economically and culturally, and literally NONE of them have even responded to hear me out.
I then turned to lower level people, only to be told my Hive stake is too low and they don't want to know.
The current reality of Hive is that the only way to be considered or heard is to buy massive amounts of Hive, which is beyond the reach of most of us, so we are all just ignored, whilst the whales continue to milk the system for their own personal financial gain.
This explains why the value of Hive and the number of Hivers are in decline.
You really need to wake up and smell the coffee! 😴
If thats your opinion then you already think that nothing you say matters. Seems a waste of time to me for someone to spend proposing change if they believe this.
If you think you need to convince 20 whales theres something for you to do. Convince 20 whales.
Mate, you ought to go into comedy, cos you are hilarious!
I already told you, several times, that those 20 whales are so remote as to simply ignore people like me. That is not an opinion, it is fact, based on months and months of trying to reach out to them.
I get that English is not your first language but you are making less and less sense each time you reply. Otherwise, maybe you are so opinionated already that you can no longer understand what others are saying, but you are frankly rubbish at communication, so it is a real shame that you can not grasp simple facts anymore, although it is typical of old time Hivers.
