Ive been active quite a bit on twitter (especially when drama happens lol) and i consider Twitter the single best tool in our arsenal for promotion of HIVE right now.
That tool has just gotten a little bit better.

The way it works is that it connects your Twitter and Hive account, then calls up keychain to confirm the transaction. The funds are sent to a placeholder pool and distributed to the receiver once he writes his Hive name under the tweet that is sent as a response.
Its pretty simple and straightforward. It isnt instant like wer used to, it will take prolly 1-2 mins for it to send the confirmation tweet. I dont think thats too bad. :)
While you might see people tipping inside the community, this should really be used for those that support HIVE on twitter and our values but dont really have Hive accounts.
If you send the tip to someone without an account and they do not claim by creating a hive account and writing their name, the tip is returned to the sender inside 30 days.
Id lower that to 2 weeks but ok. :)
I really do like straight forward additions to the ecosystem like this that serve a purpose right away. Its nothing major but it is in service of onboarding.
I've already had one tip from this, but I sent it to a small account who needs it more. My main issue is that I don't get notifications if an account I don't follow replies and so I may miss them. I may still look at it.
Id use it to tip this one guy but i gave him a account and delegated 60 HP instead. lol
