Mass Adoption Won't Come until we get these kind of accounts.

So you want Hive to be the go to Social Media Platform of the future? You want people to come here instead of perusing Facebook all evening?

You need Local News Channels to come on board and post their news stories and especially Live Feeds to HIVE in addition to, or rather than Facebook.

The thought occurred to me as I watched the protests turn to riots last week. My wife and I were watching a movie on Netflix. I had Facebook up on the laptop and suddenly saw my local news channel doing a Facebook Live from the protests downtown, where peaceful protests had turned in to attempted arson and looting.

Can Hive offer that? Not at the moment it can't.

While everyone is trying to onboard Twitter Influencers and Youtubers, who is going after local media Social Networking Specialists?

I don't pretend to know how to do this. I tried suggesting STEEM to my company a couple of years ago when we first hired a Social Media Specialist and met a brick wall. Twitter, Youtube, Facebook and Instagram have a corner on the market. What can HIVE do to join that set?

Maybe @HivePeople can figure out a way to get those News Channels and Local Newspapers to take a look at Hive. Figure out a way to sell those social media employees that HIVE is worth opening a station specific account on.

Make HIVE the source of news for people, and the people will come.

Just a thought

I like the news angle. Maybe we could create a news team here, and build from there.

At the moment we have @rt-international here

RT is already here: https://peakd.com/@rt-international
It's going to take the entire community organizing to onboard users.
Supporting the Brave ad proposal by @roomservice is something we can all do. The dapps are also integrating hiveonboard.com into the sign up process, and we are waiting for that, too. Referrals are a great way to onboard your friends, and then you get the notification of them joining so each person can help their friends who will be needing assistance. Onboarding is actually a two part process, with user retention being really important. If people don't stay, then onboarding is not effective.
