It's a matter of timelines really. Hive at $0.20 is more than doubled since we forked.
Bitcoin was worthless for so many years before the public caught on to it as a store of value against fiat inflation.
As for people sticking around that's a whole different ball of wax. 👍

We're playing a very long game here, but I am prepared to wait. Others may be more impatient and move to the 'next big thing'. I've just not seen anything else like Hive and I have a lot of friends here.

Content creation wasn't even a thing when I got started. It was just bulletin boards for academic studies and researchers.
