RE: Who is Silently Killing HIVE?

in #hive3 months ago

I think one thing you are missing is the fact that we have ton of HIVE sitting on exchanges.

Futures work because exchanges hold massive supplies of a given coin/token to leverage. And well only way for us to control whether an exchange offers futures contract is to remove liquidity from the exchange.

Sort:

Yes, agreed. Hive sitting on exchanges also indicates good trading volume for the coin. However, sometimes exchanges can remove Futures contracts if we ask them. If the person who got Hive listed on MEXC for example contacts them and has a fruitful conversation about Futures removal, it can be processed. A lot of times, exchanges do remove futures pairs while keeping the spot pairs intact.
By the way, do you support Hive Futures? @mrtats

By the way, do you support Hive Futures?

I do make some money from Futures trading. I do not support, nor oppose it. It is just a reality we need to accept.

For Trading indeed, futures are a good option. However, because of the greed of a few MMs, Hive price is suffering.
