PURPOSE OF EXISTENCE
In life, everything and everyone has a purpose of them existing so am among those that believe that there is a purpose to our existence.
In the olden days, it is believed that women are meant to be house wives, thus their lives revolving around the household, taking care of kids, cooking and ensuring that the home is in order thus generalizing the purpose of women's existence. But now a days everyone has a purpose in life different from one another. Some person's purpose of existence is to do good while others is to do bad, though we still have those on a neutral level.
I strongly believe that the purpose of our existence has a role to play in our professions, just like we have the doctors and nurses whose purpose is to save life, Pastors who are spiritual guidance, lawyers who represent us in the face of the judiciary, engineers who oversee that everything ranging from the buildings, electrical work, are all well done and functioning well. We all have a purpose of existing.
Most times we dream outside the purpose of existence that is why you see many person's walking round and circle without making positive impacts which is not because they are not hard working but simply that is just not the purpose of their existence.
Now a days,many student venture into courses in the university because their friends choose that course, while they aren't meant for that course and may obviously won't be doing well but because they don't know the purpose of their existence or they have refused to embrace the purpose of their existence they keep repeating series of mistakes.
One may ask if those who die immediately they were born have a purpose for their existence? I will say yes because if we should look in the aspect of those women who are being tagged "barren" by friends and relatives, now being able to conceive, care for the pregnancy till term and going through labour successfully has removed that tag of barrenness from the mother's so definitely the birth of that child was to prove that the woman isn't barren.
Now here comes the big question; HOW DO WE KNOW THE PURPOSE OF OUR EXISTENCE.
Many person's discover the purpose of their existence through the people they mingle with, places they go and what they do. Alot of people discover that while they do the things they do, they do have some fulfillment even with the least things they do. Some have some extra zeal to do things which to them they aren't supposed to do at times.
Others are lucky enough to have people in their lives who have had both the good and bad experience of life, who stands in as a guide to ensure that they discover the purpose of their life. Others discover their purpose through dreams, they see themselves doing things in their dreams which if they do physically add some positive impact to their lives and that of others.
As for myself I discovered the purpose of my existence by having people who guided me when I needed guidance, they were there for me when ever I look back for support till gradually I discovered that I derive Joy while doing what I do and the impact I make is unforgettable.
As there is time and season for everything, so is discovering the purpose of our existence,some discover theirs at an early stage, some later in life, others late in life. But no matter when you discover your purpose of existence try and fulfill it and watch things turn around in your life.
