Like everything else, it depends on your skill set, and who you know.
Is it possible? Yes.
Is it easy? Of course not. If it was, this place would be filled with people who just engage on Hive for a living.
The truth is, at this point, if you're a content creator with a likeable product, you will make significantly more money on legacy media, though you will also run the risk of losing not only your monetization, but your right to profit from your ideas.
That is why I am encouraging people to do both, essentially by taking their content from here and using it longer term on their own domain that they control :)
