So I was in the Magic Newton server last night and chatting to one of the mods in there called Kounde and another knowledgeable person called Jami2017. The great thing about the Newton project is that they have some very helpful mods in their Discord server, which is now populated with a community of over 500,000 Newton members, it's insane!
For those of you that are unaware of the Magic Newton project take a look at their website or have a scan of their litepaper and I think you'll agree these guys are doing some awesome things in the cryptosphere, but Newton has only just begun. It actually launched last November.
I have been totally fascinated and captivated by the Newton project since I saw a couple of Hivians talking about it in @raymondspeaks Bro server on Discord. I was very curious and glad my curiosity got the better of me. I signed up immediately which is a very simple email registration, and you get 150 Ethereal Credits for just signing up.

At the current stage the Newton mainnet has not launched and the project is in a kind of pre-mining phase. We are all busy mining Ethereal Credits with the daily dice throw and the new minesweeper game they've just created called Magic Sweeper. All these things can be accessed via your Magic Newton Portal.
So anyway as I say I was chatting in the Newton Discord last night and I have been informed that they now have a new system for acquiring roles. The roles are important as they help to multiply your Ethereal Credits. So now you start with the Initiate role which gives you x1.5 Credits, then work up to the Seeker of Truth role which gives you x3 Credits and then now the top role for the multiplier is the Grand Adventurer giving you x4 Credits on the dice throw.
The way to achieve these roles is through completing tasks and working your way up the levels in the Discord server, that is achieved through simply engaging in the Newton Discord. It's a clever way to incentivise engagement I have to say.

We still don't know where all this is going but I think that's part of the appeal. There isn't even a token released for the project yet. The great thing is that we are not investing we are simply mining Ethereal Credits. It's all very curious and exciting. Check it out!
