Writing this en train on my home from HiveFest 2022 sad to be leaving but happy with the event...
I woke up late on Sunday and headed out into the rain to meet @slobberchops and @steevc at a coffee shop in Amsterdam central and then onto a mni tour of the red light district....
Mostly closed at 12.00 Sunday...
Then onto a little shopping spree for some cheese and ethical chocolate and probably my favourite photo of the wknd!
It was a pleasant afternoon in the rain all feeling very Amsterdamish...
After a quick trip back to the bunk hotel and a 30 minute doze I then headed back out for the closing dinner and drinks which was again a very pleasant chatty affair,...
And another great venue right on the canal....
I headed back to floor seven of the Volkshotel for a couple of Gin and Gingers and did my goodbye rounds and left at 23.00 which was early enough to get the metro back and was asleep by one.
This moring I met @steevc at the station as we were on the ssme train but different carriages - heading back to the UK via Beuxells.
Over all a great fest and thanks to @roelandp for organising - loved every minute of it!
