Hope can be a powerful force, but we may need more than that. We have to optimise what resources we have.
I don't rely at all on any DHF.
I do it on my own. At my own expenses, at my own time, but consistent, continuously - keep building & sharing community updates. I pay on my own for servers, witness nodes etc.

We cannot rely on the DHF for everything, but running services and employing people have costs. It's good to see you are so public about this. I know some projects like Keychain are looking to generate income.
@steevc Yes I am also trying to keep everything free of cost but it is very very difficult. but without finding the revenue source, I do not want to put any burden to DHF. But one thing I definitely miss is that whales not supporting such initiative. I am only looking for witness vote based support & upvotes on daily dev updates I make - and only if they like it, only if they want to. But it seems I lack that support too. If you've any tips or guidance for gaining such support, please assist me.
Have you been on the Hive Thrive show? If not they should talk to you. Various people are on the live chat and you could make more connections. I'm no good at raising funds and don't even get that much support for myself, but I'm happy to talk to people.
