Good idea!
I think the Hive Fest organizers should definitely give some thought to this idea.
I think this a good time for this idea because innovations in cross blockchain swaps have made it clear that every blockchain doesn't have to do everything themselves, and that interaction between our communities doesn't have to be a zero sum game where people leave Hive for Dash or Bitcoin, but instead large numbers could join other communities and utilize tools on other blockchains which work better then similar tools on their original chain or which don't exist on their original chain.
I think fantastic cross chain pollenation could occur.
I wonder if there are any speaking slots left, and if you could present your idea?
Or if you could float the idea of a Hive Development Funded idea to invite some influencers from other chains to HiveFest as our guest??
Just throwing it out there.
Joel Valenzuela of Dash attended HIVE Fest in Croatia and gave a presentation. I admire Joel and have learned a lot about privacy from him. We can keep inviting people like him from other projects and really make our yearly meetup magical.
As much as I'd love to be there, I don't have the free time or the budget this year. I'll make it soon.
Thank you for mentioning Joel's Croatia presentation I had forgotten that event. That's a terrific example of cross pollenation and mutual growth. It is my opinion that Dash coming here to enjoy the social media platform and use social engagement to accumulate more Dash is an outstanding example of cross pollenation and mutaul growth.
I appreciate your reports on Hive innovations and realize that sometimes new eyes, especually new technical eyes from other blockchains will see potentialities in the Hive blockchain, which Hivers may not see, and the cross blockchain engagement is goood for both.
I also like your idea of using the point of service infrastructure of bitcoin and I think Dash infrastructure to increase the use of Hive is very important and under utilized. I am not a developer, but more like a user of technology and I think like yourself it helps me see these opportunities for the practical solutions they are to problems.
Thank you and I hope you continue your efforts.
I am still processing them and look forward to better indexing of articles on Hive one day, so that no knowledge gets lost.
