Not only will most people not write long posts, they won't read them either. Most content these days seems to be meant for a quick glance and then move on. I'm still old school and will read for a while or watch a long video if it's interesting. I just don't like 'clickbait' there they take ages to get to the point.
The gatekeepers need to be less precious about 'good content'.
Apparently most people these days read the title and that's about it. At least as far as 'news' is concerned.
This short attention span has been created and encouraged by social media so that the public get to see more ads. It's that simple.
Good content is totally subjective and so no one can claim authority over someone else's contribution. It's utterly nonsensical.
