RE: Are the big honchos and devs of Hive really interested in improving the network and the value of its token?

in #hivelast year

The second video sounds good, but actions speak louder than words. I have never upvoted anything I haven't read on Hive, I even asked a couple months ago how to auto upvote because, the reality is, manual curation doesn't pay. I even contemplated starting to upvote my own account....that's how bad it pays! lol. I guess I am just to honest in this life, and frankly, honesty never pays! lol.

Yeah sistah, I agree with you that actions actually speak louder than words.

But at the moment we only have words. And that's precisely the reason why we must repeat them, spread them and splat them everywhere so that those who said or wrote those words do not forget to crystallize and concretize them asap. };)

And, only the second video did you think sounds good? What doesn't sounds so good on the other two?

Exactly! that's precisely what decent and conscientious people do. They only vote what they read.

I even asked a couple months ago how to auto upvote because, the reality is, manual curation doesn't pay.

Hahaha, could that be any less true for us the commoners?

I even contemplated starting to upvote my own account....that's how bad it pays! lol.

Huy! if you start to upvote your own account... you just will confirm how awfully bad it pays!

I guess I am just to honest in this life, and frankly, honesty never pays! lol.

Never better said babe. And yeah, apparently honesty, frankness and sincerety... just like crime, never pays!

I started to watch the last one, but I stopped to remind myself that stuff like that is a useless endeavor to care about because the system isn't going to care about you no matter how much effort you put into it. Now with AI they can't claim your post are full of errors as an excuse they aren't worth anything, maybe now they are trying to figure out other ways to sugar coat it. Make it sound good but change is never going to come. Actually, it's gotten worse, I earned way more steem tokens on steemit for my participation than since we've moved, and it became hive tokens. I've seen months where it sat at zero tokens earned. I am just American cheap Nicaraguan style labor who helps keep the inner mechanisms of hive churning for the upper echelon of hive, no more, no less, you have to come to understand and accept that's the final outcome for your participation to want to continue on here. It does tend to get harder as steemit was loaded full of fun and crazy stuff going on, there weren't to many dull moments. Both sites now are severely lacking in that department.

I guess I could have added one reason it's no fun anymore is because there's no comment participation, people can just run around in their tribal circles and upvote each other using autovoter. No comments, no rebuttals, no rebuttals, no debate, no debate, no arguments, they've literally taken all the fun out.
