It looks like after about 3 days of downtime, BINANCE has just enabled Deposits and Withdrawals for STEEM.
I was looking forward to dumping my STEEM tokens, which I already did before writing this post, for 75% BTC and 25% ETH. Still have another batch of only around 1000 STEEM that need to be powered down, so hopefully by then the price won't drop to 0, but even if it does, I still got something out of the dumpster fire that Steemit is right now :)
I am also considering buying some more HIVE but at the moment seeing that we still don't have a working wallet, I can't even power up the liquid HIVE I have right now, which I got after the fork.
With all the uncertainty in the world, the virus, the lockdowns, I wanna keep as much liquidity as possible. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most liquid with the most support for ATM withdrawals if the situation becomes critical and I need to dump my holdings.
But this is the time for this community to build up. To help and support eachother, keep our heads down, fix the problems we have with the HIVE platform, develop more amazing apps, and come out the other side of this crisis stronger than ever before, and then focus on investing, once the foundation is strong.
