Hmm. It's not a bad marketing strategy to give away lottery tickets ;)
Maybe we could attract people to HIVE with this tactic. @beggars what do you think, can you implement lottery gift mechanism as an invite to join HIVE?
- A HIVE user can choose to send a gift ticket to an email address
- You store the invitation code and send an email
- The invited user opens the email and goes to the emailed link
- You create an account for them or give a short tutorial on how to do it
- Once the account is live they can claim their ticket (there was no account before so the ticket has to be in custody until then)
