This is a goofy project I have wanted to do for a while but never got around to it.

You will be prompted with two users, you choose which one you like better. If you don't see a user you know, just hit skip until you do.
You get five votes a day and every user is rated using Chess ELO system.
You can check out the current rankings by going to the leaderboard.
Under analytics, you can see all the users that have been voted on and see their breakdown.
That's it, don't take it too seriously.

On Steem? I know there used to be them on Facebook, which is what it was based on.

I do assume that only active users do pop up in the app. (created a post or comment in the past x days)
When a user is logged in, you could present names which are on the following list or with which they had an interaction in the past 30 days. You could update those lists once a day.
This way it is more likely that people do know both in the choice.
Just some thoughts.

What's the ELO score?
It is how chess is scored. I am using similar scoring system.

OMG I only just got into the Hot 100, I feel gross. It took me ages to do it as there were a ridiculous amount of people I didn't even know, so how could I compare? Still not sure how I feel about it...

This app looks great because it lets us get to know more users in this wonderful community.
When a profile pops up without a picture, I don't even check it out, but if another user uploads a good photo, it really catches my eye and makes me want to open their blog.
I just need to use my last vote; I hope to be very active with this game.

Cool concept. Great as a discoverability tool. Be cool if you showed a snippet of their last 5 posts.
Might be something I add to the user profile page, but the vote page would be too demanding considering how much people skip.
My vision was that this would stop people from skipping and look at the posts to rank the user. Having some context in page might stop people skipping.
