And then it happened... We got banned from Steem.
We saw a lot of great users on Steem who were known to ban them for being against Steem dictatorship, but we, as miniature users within the blog-chain didn't think that would happen to us, even though we weren't 100% into the controversy between Steem and Hive. So we didn't think it would happen to us, and we found out why, it turns out that the simple fact of writing HIVE in the title of a post was enough reason for that post to disappear from STEEM.
Y entonces sucedió... Nos banearon en Steem.
Veiamos a un monton de grandes usuarios reconocidos en Steem que los banearon por estar en contra de la centraización del Steem, pero nosotros, como usuarios miniatura dentro de la blog-chain no pensamos que nos pasaría, aun asi cuando noe stamos 100% metidos en el tema y la polemica entre Steem y Hive. Asi que no pensamos que nos pasaría, y descubrimos por que, resulta que el simple hecho de escribir HIVE en el título de una publicación fué motivo suficiente para que ese post desapareciera de STEEM.
We'd had a bit of a sabbatical from the blog-chain, came back a couple of months ago, in the middle of the mess between Steem and the community itself, saw the emergence of Hive and realized practically live migration of thousands of big users from Steem to Hive.
Habiamos tenido un año sabático un poco apartados de la blog-chain, volvimos hace un par de meses, en pleno lio entre Steem y la comunidad misma, vimos el surgimiento de Hive y nos dimos cuenta practicamente en vivo migración de miles de grandes usuarios de Steem a Hive.
Since Hive was born we have been posting here and there, first on Hive using @peakd, and then on Steem using @steempeak. By doing this we managed to prove something that we want to share with you, something that we were already living even a year ago and that if you are posting on both platforms maybe it is also happening to you, the lack of support on Steem, the lack of readers, the lack of users to share the posts with, the centralization of curating projects, as well as jealous users, extremely critical -in a bad way- and selective with their votes as if they were "born learned".
Desde que nació Hive hemos estado posteando aquí y allá, primero en Hive usando @peakd, y luego en Steem usando @steempeak. Haciendo esto logramos probar algo que queremos compartirles, algo que ya estabamos viviendo incluso hace un año y que si tu estas publciando en ambas plataformas quizás también te este sucediendo, la falta e apoyo en Steem, falta de lectores, falte de usuarios con quien compartir las publicacones, la centralización de proyectos de curación, ademas de los usuarios celosos, extremadamente criticos -despectivos- y selectivos con sus votos como si ellos hubiesen "nacido aprendidos".

In the next screenshot you will see the same publications in Steem (on the left side) and in Hive (on the right side). We keep Steempeak in night mode so we don't get confused with the browser windows.
And because we love to call it "the dark side" 😂

En la siguiente captura verán las mismas publicaciones en Steem (del lado izquierdo) y en Hive (del lado derecho). Mantenemos Steempeak en el modo de noche para no confundirnos con las ventanas del explorador.
Y porque nos encanta llamarle "el lado oscuro" 😂
The posts were made within minutes of each other, exactly the same text and the same tags. It is remarkable the difference, number of votes, amount of comments, the value given by the votes... These are comparisons that make it very clear how "dead" Steem is.
Las publicaciones estan hechas con solo minutos de diferencia, exactamente el mismo texto y las mismas etiquetas. Es notable la diferencia, cantida de votos, cantidad de comentarios, el valor otorgado por los votos... Son comparaciones que dejan muy claro cuan "muerto" esta el Steem.
Even our user level jumped from 59 to 61 with only 6 publications.
Below is the screenshot of the post that magically disappeared from the Steem platform minutes after being posted, just 5 days ago.

It goes without saying that... We're here, in Hive, and we're staying here. We will wait for the last publications on Steem to finish their 7 days to start making our first powerdown since we started and our biggest withdrawal of funds to invest in HIVE.
