When all the proposals they don't support fail, lots of pressure will come on them. Even if they just vote all the proposals over the line alone, the whole platform will see that they own Hive just like Sun Yuchen owns Steem.
Maybe then we can fork and get rid of the worst flaws that plague Hive, leaving one larcenous whale with all their useless tokens nobody else even wants anymore behind.
