RE: Hive needs a better User Interface

in #hive4 years ago (edited)

I drive a stick and agree with your analogy. However we should note that the advent of self driving cars removes the freedom of drivers to choose their destination. Before there were much in the way of roads, drivers made their own, and cars were capable to travel where making your own road was possible.

Dependence on roads limited our freedom to travel, and dependence on self driving cars will completely eliminate our ability to travel at our sole option. It is far easier to proscribe our journeys on the internet than it is on the ground. I am not convinced onboarding masses of chattel on cattle cars will improve our freedom of speech.

We should be careful of keeping our sole options far more than we seek to join masses, IMHO.

Thanks!
