Es gibt eine neue bessere Suchmaschine für HIVE-Postings von @good-karma. Auch ältere STEEM-Postings sollten indexiert sein.

Habt ihr schon Hivesearcher ausprobiert und den Proposal unterstützt?

Mir fehlt noch eine Option, um die Suche auf Postings eines bestimmten Users einzuschränken, um zum Beispiel meine eigenen Artikeln durchsuchen und wiederfinden zu können. Wenn man einige Tausend-Artikel gepostet hat, kann das durchaus nützlich sein.

Habe das gleich mal getestet, aber es hat nicht geklappt. Habe versucht mein NASA-Posting vom Mai 2020 mit dem Suchbegriff "Launch America" (in Anführungszeichen) zu finden, aber es ist mir nicht gelungen. Seltsam.

Update

Man kann die Suche nach Autoren bereits mit einem eigenen Befehl im Suchfeld einschränken, und zwar mit "author:username". Mittlerweile ist es mir auch gelungen, mein Launch America-Posting zu finden :)

Hivesearcher is a better search engine for HIVE posts developed by @good-karma. Also older pre-fork posts from STEEM should be indexed as well.

Have you already tried Hivesearcher and supported the proposal?

I'm still missing an option to limit the search to specific users, which could be handy to find my own posts. If you have posted several thousand articles, this can be quite useful indeed.

I tested it right away, but it did not work. I tried to find my NASA article from May 2020 with the search term "Launch America" (in quotation marks), but I didn't succeed and it did not return my post. Strange.

Update

You can already limit the search for specific authors with a special command in the search field, namely with "author:username". In the meantime I also managed to find my Launch America-Post :)

Try adding author:vikisecrets into search field with any term you want and you will get all your posts/comments.
This returns all your posts+comments

Oh cool, that the feature is already there, but it was not easily discoverable by the UI. Maybe a link or advanced settings page would be good.

Suddenly, I was able to find my "Launch America" post btw :)

There is i icon on search field, it should take you to post with some tips. And yes, goal is to add them into UI, it is in our todo list, with proposal almost getting funded, we can finally start working on them first.

We need a proper content discovery tool. We need it like Air for Hive to grow. It's a good move in the right direction.

Nicht neu. Die Suche war durch die esteemapp Suche schon die ganze Zeit verfügbar.
Nur das Logo war anders.

Neu ist auch, dass die Suche als API auch für andere Frontends und Projekte verfügbar ist.

Okay, ja das stimmt.
Mal schauen was sich daraus ergibt, denn die derzeitigen Suchfunktionen auf den Fontends sind relativ großer Mist.

Interesting. Sounds like a good tool. I'll have to check it out. I have wanted to search for a post in the past and didnt have any luck. This would help with that.
