The luthiers are tradidional craftsmen who build ,repair or restore musical instruments such as violins, violas cellists and guitars.
There are stillvery few with their small workshops with specific tools made by themin the west of Transylvania ROMANIA.
Because the violins are made of spruce wood ,the upper part,maple ,the lower part of the neckand ornaments , and willowwood. Everything for tonality and good rezonance. These trees are found in the forests of Ttransylvania especialityin the Mures region.Over time and throught evolution , people have build a large and modern factory for the manufacture of stringed musical instruments of city of Reghin.
But the traditional luthiers , woekshops did not disappear either .It is said the most famous Stradivarius violins were manufactured here .. in that mystic place. But it is not really known.....
