The problem is that as long as Hive is (supposed to be) decentralised & censor-resistant, it doesn't have much of a future in China. hive.blog, that is. How the cryptocurrency fares in China is another question, although I doubt it will ever become legal to trade or use it for payments.
Hive.blog seems to be still available in China (if you want to check) , but it's probably just a matter of time until it is blocked like steemit.com.
So, don't get your hopes up.
