They are already burned. This is the proposal to have them restored from the ashes.

And this is not an easy decision as there was a bug in the software who created the initial list so innocent people got on the list.

And it there is only one innocent person on the list then:

“That it is better 100 guilty Persons should escape than that one innocent Person should suffer, is a Maxim that has been long and generally approved.”Benjamin Franklin

"We are all born ignorant but one must work hard to remain stupid"

Then I'm glad I'm always prepared to change my mind in the light of new information.

Of course, a quote without additional informations is pretty useless and will be dismissed by the reader as the passive aggressive jab it is.

You might want to take an example at @dhimmel and @eturnerx who provided additional information which have the potential of changing my mind.

It's a good idea to burn the Hive instead of leaving it in the Dao. Transfer to @null before it is granted to well connected individuals. Who exactly on that list made a mistake? Updating witness votes to sock accounts takes some effort and people who accidentally do something like that don't really deserve free crypto. They are working hard to be stupid.

The genuine mistakes will be refunded and so are not on this list.

That too is an important information missing on the proposal.

Not mentioning this information on the proposal is huge mistake because for me at least this is the deal breaker.

They are already burned. This is the proposal to have them restored from the ashes.

Are you sure? I thought the seized funds were allocated to @steem.dao rather than @null.

@steem.dao estimated Account Value $ 32,105,540.72

You might be right. That would put another interesting twist on the proposal. Glad I haven't voted yet as I have to reconsider information.
