Communities Discovery Initiative : La Ruche

Within the framework of the initiative proposed by @theycallmedan and the @ocd team, I propose to you today to discover a community which I have the heavy task of administering alongside other equally devoted members. As mentioned in the article #HiveCommunities - Communities Discovery Initiative, it is my duty to take the opportunity to make this introduction. We hope that by reading this article you will learn a little more about our community and its role with the Francophones present on the Hive network.

First of all, it is appropriate to make a point on the origins of La Ruche. The result of the collaboration between @steemquebec and @francosteemvotes, La Ruche was born from a desire on the part of its founding members to continue the work that was previously done on the Steem network. Having played this role for nearly four years with French-speaking users and having some experience in the field, these two teams have over time established links between their members. While taking a stand against the "coup d'état" exerted by Justin Sun against the Steem blockchain and its community, these two entities finally came together to form one. Thus, La Ruche now focuses solely on Hive and tries to assume the role of catalyst for the development and constitution of the francophone and related community on this blockchain. Present since the famous Hardfork and the creation of Hive, La Ruche currently has 75 members.

We are currently continuing our work in the area of coaching in order to establish a suitable environment for the development of people using the French language on this network. Through initiatives such as the curation of quality posts (largely inspired by the curative teams already in place), the organization of contests and awareness raising on the use of the blockchain, we are confident that La Ruche will become a gateway to the use of Hive for francophones, whatever their origins. In this regard, we have already contributed to the development of tools for artists, including the @authentika project, jointly developed by @bambukah, @philodendron and @ixindamix, and we plan to create an online platform to create an account in an educational and entertaining way.

Our community wants to be more generalist and encourages its members to use their native language in order to publish their creation. Each registered member receives a daily upvote encouraging them to speak up and share their works with us in French, provided they meet the conditions set by the team in charge of the community. We have established a system of delegations rewarding members sharing their HP, by redistributing liquidity according to their participation in the effort but also by giving them an additional bonus through our upvotes. Every week, we strive to highlight original articles from this community on our corresponding page.

To summarize, here are our objectives through the use of our community :

Accompany and educate the French-speaking members on their evolution within the blockchain.
Promote quality content.
Organize meetings and gatherings outside the network.
Propose diverse and varied tools in interaction with Hive.
