Hiver - Tweeting on the Blockchain

in #hivedev4 years ago

Just a quick reminder that you can micro-blog on the blockchain with Hiver. Check out the intro post if you missed it. It's still in a 'proof of concept' phase, but most functionality you'd expect from Twitter is there. Come and have a play!

I've been away from my development machine for the last week and a half, so haven't added any features or updates to the app. There's a few UI tweeks I could make, and I'm considering allowing votes from non-logged in people. I.e. the general public without blockchain accounts. Do you think this is a good idea?

What's next?

In addition to the above, I'm going to start coding a mobile app version. Something to keep me busy in my spare time, and maybe can see the app become something a bit more serious than a 'proof of concept'.

Any features you'd like to see added to the app?

Cheers, and tweet on! :)

This twitter-like hiver looks promising!

And a mobile app version would be great!

Why did you downvote with all your available power this post on D.Hive? https://hive.blog/hive-193084/@edje/snup35831kr7a72eihnnyjy2nlea7vi9

You launched yourself a micro blog service, so it can't be the micro blog post itself. Or are you trying to beat the competition? Looking fwd to learning from you the reason for your downvote.

Sorry man, it was just a single image without any context or artistic merit (i.e. it wasn't art or a photograph) and it was valued at $1. I thought that was too high for an essentially empty post.

Fair enough. Though did you investigate what is behind this single image? Just by clicking it you'll get a flavour of it.

Features? Well, much more than a feature, but I would love to see real time Democrity governance, as per my comment here: https://peakd.com/hivedev/@atma.love/re-revo-qdd22r
I would very likely contribute to cost of development of a Matrix-8 DApp btw
