Hey a quick update on my bots right now.
(For HiveQuest players: I will posting the new turn today after work)
I have an account named @piratedice that is running the following commands as a BOT. These commands can be called anywhere on the blockchain.
!D6 - rolls 1D6 and responds with the roll
!D20 - rolls 1D20 and responds with the roll
@piratedice - rolls 1D10 and responds with the number rolled with a bit of pirate flair.
Anyone is welcome to use these. They are running on my home computer. If you could see fit to upvote them once in a while it will help RC credits for them and help me get a server for them.
Also I have @Questbot up and running this bot has the following commands:
!shoot -
!swing -
!scan -
!search -
these commands are used for HiveQuest, but can be tailored for anything you need. Anyone can call these also from anywhere on the HiveBlockchain.
If you have any other bot needs let me know and I can work on them.

This is very cool! Do you happen to have this code up on GitHub? I'm pretty new to the chain, and I'm trying to wrap my head around how to make a bot for the chain... and thought it might be cool to add a bot to your HiveQuest to roll up random characters on command if people feel like doing so.
So - what I mean to say is - it would be awesome to see how your dice bots work so I can look at how to do it myself. Thanks!

Me and @thecrazygm and @stuffbyspencer use github, its a tiny bit extra work for making sharing code one million times easier.

If you are on windows, I would recommend GitBash, {available here) its a command line program just for this. If you have any type of Linux its just the same old CLI that you always use.

Once it becomes habitual, it is very helpful. I'm willing to help in any way I can :)

@happyme - can you use these for your game? I think I'm going to have to turn my dicebots off Steem. The account I use Zeit.com is changing it's infrastructure soon and I think it's going to kill my dicebots.
Yes! Absolutely. Thank-you. I have 1 player that hasn't moved to Hive, so I may lose her when your bots are turned off.
Oh... that's a shame... maybe you'll be the motivation for her to come across?
I don't know... I tried everything I could think of, but she has other ideas.
BTW, it's nice to hear from you. Where (which platform) do you spend most of your time now?
I've actually been building a whole separate website/app... so I haven't been spending my time on any platforms, which is a shame and I've definitely missed everyone. The good thing is that my app should be finished this week, so I'll be back. I think I'll spend the majority of my time on Hive. I've really only been using Steem to power down to purchase Splinterlands cards.
Ah! You have been productive. I've been shirking my responsibilities while playing around, hoping that I can catch up without giving up my pleasures. Please let me know when your new project is completed; I would like to take a look at it.
