Anything familiar? most of his assets can also be found easily. I just dont get why oh why people are saying it is such amazing great content of his while in reality without "blockchain game" everyone would simply say it is the most shity thing they saw. I dont get it, how one can say it is amazing game, without any game, with P2P system and those amazing discounts from 10$ to 5$ even tho it barely started.

The vast majority of software these days just pulls together "internet assets" AKA open source libraries and links it together with a small amount of original coding.
I don't see how this is any different. The game has plenty of original artwork too and the gameplay video I saw demonstrated some functionality.

Its not just the marketing term "blockchain game" that matters. Its the ability to own and freely trade your in-game assets and have your game state immutably inscribed on a properly decentralised blockchain that is the key differentiator from traditional mainstream games.

It is the difference between investing and just spending, between being a producer and being a consumer between being a free person and a sheep. Between true ownership of your efforts and and having your hundreds or thousands of hours of your time and money investment thrown in the toilet by a capricious, censoring big corporate or lost in a buy out or insolvency.
