Binance exchange has been back with HIVE since Monday, so as promised before, our reservation program is coming to an end!


End of reservation offer on Saturday


At Saturday, 7 PM UTC, all reservation offers will expire!

At that date, all remaining packs will be put in a global pool for a duration of 4 days. All alpha players will be able to take packs from this pool even in excess of their previous reservation limit, but only up to the supply limit of 300.

This will be done on a first come, first served basis!

As a reminder these packs act like "lands in 2325" as they will provide cards every week in beta.

End of presale on Thursday


After Thursday, 7 PM UTC, beta presale will be over.

This will be the end of your access to beta boosters and contracts at discount.

Packs purchased during presale will all be tradable and transferrable before the end of November.

Also, more information about our new contract mechanics (upgrade contracts, equip cards on contracts, how to improve drops, and how such features are coming to alpha packs) will be revealed and accessible as we get closer to beta.

Back to the game!


Gameplay for EXODE will continue with alpha releases, attacking the colonization loop, Evacuation Missions, leveling and new contract pack features!

As mentioned on our Discord, we are first unlocking new team profiles and a new team specialization feature when creating a new team.


In next update you will begin team creation by picking a team specialization.
And only after you will be able to check what leader fits the job!

This is a much more natural process.
This also goes with a new team specialization UI.

We believe there is too much information available for reading on our new screens!

The team UI is quite challenged with the entire spectrum of team activities in colonization as we saw in our testing. So we are again going to refine that this weekend as we will separate team activities by type (colony life, production, research...).

This team specialization concept comes hand in hand with the new teams you will have available in in our food update.


Our new update will give you access to food policies and your cantina setup!

The coming food update gives access to food policies, food storage and to a new team setup.

You will be able to set up a cooking team, but also many other optional teams (all teams are actually optional) such as:

  • A Security Team to enforce your food policies and avoid food being stolen!

  • A Logistics Team to actually transport everything on your colony which demands transport (such as food ingredients between your storage building and cantina)

  • And more!

You will also be able to choose buildings, if you have any, for Cantina and Storage.

This is an important new range of features as players previously could pick Habitats if they had any.

And what if you don't have buildings? that's ok, many of alpha games are exactly like that.
This is exactly what we will test with Research, Design, Building and Production.

Meanwhile, you can eat in the ship wreck.
(don't eat the ship wreck)

As a reminder:

  • All teams are optional. You can continue living without any colony team!

If you don't put any team on a colony, you won't do research, designs, production, and so on as all require to commit a team to it. But not food and sleep: these are automatically done on citizen artificial intelligence.

Colonists can eat their own if you want.
Oh... did we... ok, we mean "on" their own, of course.

Alien infected colonists could possibly eat their own, true. But that's... okay, we are overworked! ;)

  • The minimum members of a team is 1. Single member teams are okay.

  • This is about your colony teams. This is their daily life when they are on the site of your colony.

  • Members are not working when they sleep, when they are diseased, wounded, or when they are doing something else during an Away Team mission. But this is automatic: you don't have to change your teams for that. We think it's better this way.

Ok, now let's get back to work on this update.

Speaking about that, we are very sorry for the "when" of this update. Design comes up with new things, development adjusts UI and here we are.

It's actually much better than thinking "it's okay to do teams the wrong way" and pile up content and not take a look at how messy it could become and how confused players could be.

It's very difficult to rework an UI players got used to. For instance, EVAC does the job, so we will refine a few things but not rework the entire sceneries there. For colonization, this is different.

We are getting back to your planets pilots!

Meanwhile don't forget there are only a few days left to get your hands on these things!
