One major barrier I see is the intricating aspects of blockchain. These intricacies would require more of our precious resource, time. It requires more time to fully grasp.
Hive's integration of social media elements should have been more attractvie to many people who already emerse in the world of social media but that hasn't been the case. Looks like we still lad behind with the number of potential users most of us think should love everything that has been built here. Those of us who engaged in marketing activities and with onboarding knows how much new users would still require time to fully understand most of the things that goes on here.
Despite this big challenge, one undeniable truth remains: worthwhile endeavors often demand significant time and effort. While investing time on Hive may seem arduous, considering how freely people give away their time elsewhere for nothing, it's actually the best option. The platform's potential to transform the resource of time and effort into rewarding experiences is remarkable, which is something that most people should prefer.

Where to spend out time wisely can be something that we ponder about since there are many options available to us nowadays, especially in the online space. I think spending time on Hive will yield great dividends in the future, especially if one approaches it with a long term view.

If I look retrospectively to myself, I used to 'waste' quite some time playing computergames. Nowadays, I rather use it to build up my Hive account and connections. :D

The basic problem is the fact that some people don't understand the fact that success is a journey and there must be a starting point and a building point, so want to harvest before investing, that has been the challenge we face in my country when it comes to hive adoption
Which is why many have become victims of get rich quick get schemes. It takes time to grow an investment. Those who have a long term mindset are the ones that appreciates Hive.
