Damascus steel was a type of metal that was famous and clear. Swords made with this can cut almost everything. Its real prototype has not yet been recreated by modern advances. The method of making Damascus steel was lost over time and became one of the greatest mysteries in history.

In 1901, it was found under sea water, a strange device known as the "antikythera mechanism". This predecessor mechanism of ancient Greece seems to be an analog computer with planetary movements in mind, as scientists estimate that it was about 2,000 years old. The concrete used by the Romans was much stronger than the cement we used today. In fact, it became even more durable when exposed to seawater, while modern concrete weakens over time. Scientists are still trying to understand the mystery behind its formula. If we can unlock this knowledge, we can be able to build structures that last for thousands of years!

Hindu mythology and Sanskrit texts describe "Vimanas," flying machines that can travel through the sky. While many people believe that these are just myths, some researchers feel that they may indicate the lost aviation technology.
