Hello everyone! I am really excited to get my first full fledged NFT mint launched on Polygon tomorrow, May 25, 2022, which happens to be my 40th birthday! What better way to celebrate a mid week birthday than doing an NFT launch, lol!
Currently at time of writing, I am hanging out and watching the files upload to IPFS and I have the contract all set up and verified on Polygon and waiting to finish setting everything up once I have the CID for the image folder! I am using the Unlock Protocol as the NFT contract which allows me to use these NFTs as memberships! So yeah, there will be perks to holding these NFTs! There will also be governance voting for the DAO and eventual dividend payments to holders! Working on some other things like a private Discord where only NFT holders will be able to access, and more!.
The NFTs will be able to be resold on Opensea and I will be posting the collection links and such once it starts to get all set up and minted! I will be hopefully minting the first NFT myself at 10:07am Central Time, which was the time I was born... cheesy I know, but hey why not? I am getting old, LOL.
The cost of minting will be 10 pHBD per NFT. The way these contracts are set up, they are meant to only mint one NFT per address. If you want more NFTs, you will need a second address to send the prior minted copies. Of course you can buy them second hand off the market as well if you want to expand your collection. This also allows for a couple of things... One, it allows more people to be able to take part, and protects from one whale coming in and buying a bunch of them up to flip on the market.

I am basically using these NFTs as a fund raiser to help continue the development and then pay for marketing and such for all of the different projects I have developed or are an admin for like Hivelist, HiveHustlers, Coin Logic, and BlockTunes.
Marketing and development are not cheap and either have been done by me or the funds were all bootstrapped from my own pocket. I am changing up the percentage split a bit to cover some immediate costs for PolyList development and getting on the search and hiring social media managers. I know we are in a bear market and all, and everyone has taken a hit, so it might not be the best time to launch the collection, but I am going for it anyway, lol. I need to experience it and see all these new tools work anyway, lol.
There will be more project focused collections to come in the future so be looking out for those. These collections will be offshoots of the Logical NFTs and will go to fund the specific project where as the main collection is an overall fundraiser.
Anyway, this is a thrown together post to talk a bit about what I am up to today and to be looking out for the full launch post tomorrow!

There is an example of one of them in there, which actually I ended up having to run them all again, so this one may not even exist in the mix, lol.
oo I am ready, had no idea it was limited to 1 per address, guess I only buy one or maybe I'll make 2 more addresses as I got 30 phbd sitting about.
Hmmmm. we'll see. :D In other random news, I fell for my first crypto scam today hahah woo. I have finally been baptised by crypto scammyness. only $90 so I'm not sad, I got greedy for a quick profit and brain farted. :D I can make that back quickly I'm sure.

I created my first polygon wallet just to support you, dude. And I've swapped my first test HBD to that wallet address. If I can figure out how to show the pHBD token in my polygon wallet (currently I can't add the pHBD token to the polygon token list because of some syncing issue) I will transfer enough pHBD to the wallet to get my hands on one of your NFTs.
What a journey... ^^
Update: Yeah! I got it working. I didn't know that I just have to import the pHBD token address to metamask. I thought I would need to import it to the polygon wallet... 😁

Yeah, metamask should be the same as your polygon wallet, you just have to add the network.

About to get the minting page up, ran into some issues with things, but it is all working now!
I installed Metamask at some point in the past (maybe two years ago?), but never used it due to lack of knowledge and crypto tokens. Today that has changed. I'll see if I can do anything useful with it. 😀
Yeah metamask is essential these days. Or you can try out the Brave wallet if you are using that browser and import your wallet there. But yeah, it's one of those I use everyday kind of things.
A browser is a browser and a cryptowallet is a cryptowallet. I better keep them separate from each other so that I don't run into any lock-ins. And if I'm not using a certain cryptowallet at the moment, I simply deactivate the corresponding addon. This reduces the risk of becoming a victim in an unpredictable situation.
I also have links that will help get people to Sushiswap and such to trade pHBD. Just trying to support the token and give it some ecommerce usecase.
atm I will use my pHBD only to get one of your NFTs. Imho HBD performs great in the internal market (its smart use can currently generate a 5%+ margin on Hive<>HBD swaps within days multiple times a month) so I have no intention to get my HBD out of Hive. 😁
I appreciate the support! Just trying to help support the ecosystem and give some additional use case to the new pHBD token. There are just things I can do with the EVM chains allot easier than I can with Hive, so working with chains that we can easily go in and out of like BSC and Polygon from Hive is the best answer. Plus it give more attention to the ecosystem as a whole...At least that is the plan, lol.
I need to keep you in good mood... I have a fairly big stake in hivelist and I need to make sure that you don't lose interest in growing it up. It could serve as your cash cow. I only need to convince you about it. 😁
