Ola hive fam! How did your weekdays went through? I'm sure it went fine despite the busyness of work and school. Weekends are a day of relaxation, where you can spend time with family and friends. So, today let me share how I spent my weekend last June 15, as well as how we celebrated independence day last June 12.🍒
On June 12, 2024, We, the baranggay officials celebrated the independence day by attending a flag raising ceremony at 7 am to commemorate the attainment of independence here in Philippines, and after the flag raising we snapped some photos to remember this special day.

On afternoon at 1 pm, The Municipal Youth Development Officers (MYDO) of the Municipality of Tabogon visited our humble Baranggay and oriented the Youths about the purpose and advantages of having TYM (Tabogon Youth Movement) and BCA (BARANGAY CHILDREN ASSOCIATION) officers in our baranggay.

After the said orientation we distributed some snacks for the youths to express our heartfelt gratitude towards them attending the orientation and ended with a wonderful photo of ours as we unite as one. ABANTE CADUAWANON!!
Also on June 15 at 4:00 pm, The PYCC (Parish Youth Coordinating Council) officers of St.Martin De Porres Church visited our beloved chapel. They wanted to convey message to furtherly organize the organization of youths of the baranggay, and to make preparations for the upcoming Parish Youth Day on Septemper 7 and 8.
After the orientation ended it was automatically followed by a Taizé Prayer. During this time we felt the presence of our beloved father, Jesus Christ.
Time passed by and we were enlightened by the words of wisdom from our father. The prayer ended and we prepare some little snacks for the PYCC officers and also for the youths who attended the prayer.
While waiting for 7:30 I went home to finish my school project which is research.
Time flies fast and it's already 7:30 so I tidied my things and automatically went to our Baranggay hall. We were supposed to have a meeting together with one of the MYDO Officers, Sir Floyd Fuentes.
While waiting for the newly elected TYM and BCA officers. We, the SK officials had a little meeting as it was also our monthly session.
The newly elected officers of TYM AND BCA arrived and Sir Floyd automatically oriented them on how to handle their assigned positions.
The orientation ended smoothly and of course we snapped some photos for a memorable day as we unite as one.
It was hard for me navigating my studies and also the work of a baranggay official but despite of the tiredness, I succeeded on facing through it because in my mind this was for the better of myself and as well for our beloved baranggay.
Lastly on June 29-30(Saturday-Sunday). We, the Sk Officials conducted a SUROY PUROK Program which we will elect an Officers of each Purok that only belongs to our Barangay. We faced consecutive challenges when we went to each purok due to its bumpy and rocky roads while some roads are muddy due to the rain. Despite the challenges we encountered we successfully visited every purok in our Barangay with smiles on our faces.
