This is @uwanderer wanted to sharing with you a life changing experience to a child named "Salifah".
Salifah is one of the children who are severely affected by man-made disaster also commonly known as war, siege, or family fued.
Salifah lost her family and loved ones. She lost her home and good neighbours. She lost her school and some of her classmate.
Salifah lives now with her distant relatives and they all reside in a small tent in a relocation site.
At first Salifah was really broken in pieces and shattered a thousand times after experiencing such a traumatic event of her life.
But after attending several months of psychosocial intervention and support. Salifah is gaining the life she has lost. Even though she is still in pain. They love for others and herself surpass all those difficult times.
One strong proof of that is the photo presented above. Salifah is fighting back to win her childhood life. And slowly she is regaining it one step at a time.
And we, the volunteers who journey with her are so happy with all the positive transformation she have made for herself.
I hope this post and Salifah smile made your day/eve a little brighter even though we are now experiencing difficulties in times of the pandemic.
