It's such a cool token. It is what is called an engagement token, which means you can use it to tip others (which I will be doing if you comment on this post!) Leave a comment below and I'll demonstrate how it works!
Did you know you can earn with it passively!?
Yep, as sure as the deliciousness baked into a classic pepperoni pizza, you can get these tokens fresh from the ovens and stick them right into places that they will earn passively! There are a few different ways this can happen so lets go over a couple of them!
Pippin hot passive $PIZZA #1: HODL it.
By HODLing the heck out of your PIZZA tokens, you are entered into all sorts of cool things. It's like having a lotto ticket that keeps in having lottos every day, only its made out of digital cheesy goodness. There is a post by @thebeardflex here which outlines:
- The Pizza Hodler lottos: in a nutshell it is a multi-tiered lotto system that ensures large stakehodlers are rewarded, but smaller stakehodlers aren't left out. Just by HODLing $PIZZA you are entered in it!
- Delegating HP to @hive.pizza: This will also get you PIZZA as a reward!
- Engaging with the Pizza Community - There is a vibrant Discord community which is very active and has PIZZA give-a-ways all the time. Check it out!
- Stake those PIZZAs
- And of course the obvious one: You buy PIZZA low, if PIZZA go boom, you happy

Along with HODLing the token, you can also earn more PIZZA passively by providing it for liquidity pools. This is a little bit more complex, and I definitely recommend that you DYOR before reading any of my blogs and going in on anything, and I only post for education/entertainment purposes, never financial advice.
PIZZA can be placed in diesel pools with SWAP.HIVE as well as the popular DEC from Splinterlands. You can see the 3 step guide in the picture above on how to access the pool. To provide liquidity into a pool you must have both PIZZA and the pairing asset, in these cases SWAP.HIVE and DEC. By putting your PIZZA in the pool, you are providing liquidity to the underlying market makers that allow the markets to function more smoothly on HIVE. It's...complicated...but you earn more PIZZA when you do it! So it might be something for you to look into! You can check out TribalDex Diesel Pools here, just search for pizza!
Rumor mills, rumor mills....
I don't want to say I have the inside scoop above the under-workings of the PIZZA empire that's slowly being established. But I do wander around in their discord quite a bit, and I hear things, and I know things. I do happen to know that the idea of earning PIZZA through gaming engagement has been...mentioned. This could be anything from playing on the PIZZA Minecraft server, to playing on another of their modded servers. None of this is official, and I'm in not place to speak for the team, but I do get a keen sense the team are built from gamer stock. The future PIZZA plans include using PIZZA for gaming servers and buying video games, so the idea of earning PIZZA while playing on official PIZZA servers isn't out of the question!
So really, the only way to stay as up-to-date about the ongoing PIZZA conquest, you really should join the Discord server and engage, take part. PIZZA is a pretty fun token. I thought it was cool enough that I even had some cool custom dice made with the PIZZA token logo on it.

I think you can still summon pizza with 20 pizza. Think of it as a level 1 pizzamancer. I'm a level 2 pizzamancer so I can toss around a bit more cheesey goodness

The engagement token idea is little confusing to me. Been around, but not a pro by all means. Makes sense cuz ive had quite a few people give random tokens, i just dont know how its set up to do that.
Once you have a certain amount of an engagement token in your wallet, you can type certain comments in the comment section to tip other users with engagement coins.
For example:
!LUV will tip you LUV tokens
!PIZZA will tip you PIZZA tokens
There are others. You can check your token balances on many different places across HIVE. The most common place would be HIVE Engine.

Thank you for the information,what I haven’t understood yet, is if I receive the pizza is it for me to use it, or the donator stake it on my post or are we both gaining from it?
