Hey All,
It gives me an immense pleasure to see and share my HIVE Power status, where I am approaching this great milestone of having close to 71K+ Hive Power aka HP. The #HivePowerUpDay is celebrated on every first day of the month. Its a #HIVE community driven initiative where folks power of #HIVE just to show their love and support for the blockchain in general. I may have have missed the #HivePowerUpDay at times but to be honest most of the time rather everyday I power up #HIVE and hence have been able to achieve the milestone of haing 71K+ Hive Power. But there is no stopping here, I have this immediate GOAL of accomplishing at least 75K+ HP by then end of this year, 2023.
The PowerUp process is when we take liquid assets (HIVE, in this case) and stake them on-chain. In very simplistic terms, it's akin to buying stock, proving that you believe in the future of the chain. In return for the stake, those who PowerUp have a greater vote value when they upvote posts (which, in turn, earn greater Curation Rewards), have more Resource Credits (RC) with which to transact with the blockchain and earn 'dividends' of HP awarded periodically over time.
May it be Author or Curation rewards; I just power up all the #HIVE that I receive for most of the time. If a person believes in the platform and has a defined goal then I think its gonna be #HPUD daily without fail & so is my position with powering up HIVE daily. I did power up 50 #HIVE on HPUD, I know that is not much but every bit counts and at the same time when I am powering up daily that is yet another a great initiative from my side. So what is the motivation that I have for #HPUD - Here are some of my thoughts and the driving factors to daily to a #HIVE powerup...
Motivations for #HPUD...
- The goal to achieve 75K+ HIVE POWER
- Love for the #HIVE platform
- Freedom of Speech
- Data is on Blockchain; hence its transparent
- One can leverage DeFi on #HIVE; stake #HBD for 20% APR
- Desire to build my profile as the platform grows
- Believe in #HIVE & its bright FUTURE
- Not regretting later; why I didn't power up or have a decent stake
- Can #HIVE be my door for #financial freedom
- Be part of the Web3.0 journey and an early investor/user
- Promoting decentralization, as this is the FUTURE...
- Getting that feeling of being inclusive & contributing towards governance of the platform
- There is NO #CEO for HIVE; community is the CEO
- HIVE feels like I am at Home...
And the list just goes on and on. Overall, I am happy that I am part of this amazing blockchain which is for the people by the people and there is no single entity that is controlling it..its Just decentralized breaking all the barriers that a centralized platforms like Facebook, twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms are having. #HIVE breaks all these barriers and gives back the control to its users as how they would like the platform to develop or grow over a period of time. At the end of the day if you have #HIVE and have staked it no matter what the amount of stake you have you are chance or vote in the community to say or put forth your point of view.
