Siempre he sentido mucha atracción por el buen vestir y los colores. Es posible que sea por esa "vena" artística y creadora que se impone en mi. Sin embargo, en los últimos años, he dejado de último todo lo que tenga que ver con estilo y tendencias por diversas razones. Lo más extraño es que constantemente veo las vidrieras y deseo vestirme como los maniquíes y las chicas de pasarela.
En ocasiones pienso volver a hacer el curso de costura para actualizar conocimientos tan sólo para poder hacerme la ropa que me gusta y me queda bien. Siendo más jovencita me confeccioné un vestido, una blusa y una falda. Eso fue muy empoderante.
Sin embargo, nunca he seguido la moda al pie de la letra, siempre visto lo que me favorece, los colores según mi tono de piel y de acuerdo a mi estilo.
Wearing what suits me
I have always been very attracted to good clothes and colors. It is possible that it is because of that artistic and creative "vein" that is imposed on me. However, in the last few years, I've stopped dressing for everything that has to do with style and trends for various reasons. The strangest thing is that I constantly look at the shop windows and wish to dress like the mannequins and catwalk girls.
Sometimes I think about going back to the sewing course to update my knowledge just to be able to make clothes that I like and look good on me. When I was younger I made a dress, a blouse and a skirt. That was very empowering.
However, I have never followed fashion to the letter, I always wear what suits me, the colors according to my skin tone and according to my style.
¿Qué define mi estilo?
A lo largo de mi vida siempre he seguido estilos clásicos y románticos, incluso en otros ámbitos como la decoración. Nunca he seguido tendencias extravagantes, como los colores fosforescentes y dramáticos o las prendas saturadas de brillo o volumen. Eso no significa que no me atreva a probar algo nuevo, pero tiene que quedarme bien, sin hacer el ridículo.
A la hora de comprar ropa escojo colores como el blanco, negro, rojo, crema, azul, rojo o rosado bajo. Algunos tonos del verde también le van bien a mi color de piel, de hecho, mi traje de baño es de color verde manzana.
¿Qué tipo de prendas prefieres?
Faldas: Últimamente no las uso mucho pero si las veo, las elijo con algún pliegue, de telas florales o de colores oscuros, y las sencillas las prefiero de un solo color.
Pantalones: Los prefiero semi ajustados y a la cintura si son jeans, y me gusta combinarlos con blusas o camisas informales. Si los pantalones son de vestir, me gusta llevarlos con blusas románticas con pequeños dibujos y unicolores.
Vestidos: Siempre me ha gustado esta prenda. Los prefiero con todo tipo de tejidos. Me gustan los vestidos románticos, casuales y clásicos.
What defines my style?
Throughout my life I have always followed classic and romantic styles, even in other areas such as decoration. I have never followed extravagant trends, such as phosphorescent and dramatic colors or garments saturated with glitter or volume. That doesn't mean I don't dare to try something new, but it has to look good on me, without making a fool of myself.
When it comes to buying clothes I choose colors like white, black, red, cream, blue, red or low pink. Some shades of green also go well with my skin color, in fact, my swimsuit is apple green.
What kind of garments do you prefer?
Skirts: Lately I don't wear them much but if I see them, I choose them with some pleats, in floral fabrics or dark colors, and the simple ones I prefer them in one color.
Pants: I prefer them semi-fitted and at the waist if they are jeans, and I like to combine them with blouses or casual shirts. If the pants are dress pants, I like to wear them with romantic blouses with small patterns and unicolor.
Dresses: I have always liked this garment. I prefer them with all kinds of fabrics. I like romantic, casual and classic dresses.
Mi estilo en la actualidad
Todo lo que escribí anteriormente es lo que define mi estilo desde siempre, no obstante, en los últimos años he adoptado un estilo más deportivo o casual, quizá porque ya no tolero el calor y ahora quiero estar más fresca y sin complicaciones. Vestir a la moda significa combinar calzado con telas y peinados. Entonces, ahora sólo trato de llevar el cabello arreglado y ponerme camisetas con bermudas de jeans, obteniendo un outfit algo playero.
¿Celebridad que inspira tu manera de vestir?
Ninguna, realmente 😁 No me inspiro en nadie. Sinceramente por gustarle lo clásico me guiaría por la línea de moda de Carolina Herrera, diseñadora internacional, pero espero el momento de abastecerme de piezas que me ayuden a imitar, de alguna manera su colección.

My style nowadays
Everything I wrote above is what defines my style since always, however, in recent years I have adopted a more sporty or casual style, perhaps because I no longer tolerate the heat and now I want to be cooler and uncomplicated. Dressing fashionably means combining shoes with fabrics and hairstyles. So, now I just try to wear my hair done and put on t-shirts with jeans shorts, getting a somewhat beachy outfit.

None, really 😁 I'm not inspired by anyone. Honestly for liking classic I would be guided by the fashion line of Carolina Herrera, international designer, but I wait for the moment to stock up on pieces that help me imitate, in some way her collection.
