RE: Share Your Natural Medicine Images to Win! (100 HIVE ON OFFER, CONTEST CLOSES SAT 28 AUGUST)

in #hivestockimages4 years ago

@minismallholding, @artemislives, suddenly I have a question. what is your opinion on waterwarks for this Hive Stock Images pool? small marks crediting the author, or marks with the Hive logo... might be a good idea, or bad?? I never bother to add my watermarks to the images I upload, but this time, I suddenly consider it might be the case worth it? I didnt read anything on it in initial post (or maybe missed). guide me pls.

Really the choice is yours to make. What I would say, however, is that if you put pictures up for others to use, they'd probably prefer it not to have a watermark. You could, of course, ask them to come to you personally to get the watermark free version, so that you have a bit more knowledge and control of who's using them, but if there are other similar photos, it would probably be easier for them to use those instead. Therefore, you might be putting people off using them.

I prefer to keep things simple. If you say thats up to e, means you dont feel / dont consider this to be important, then I will dont be obsessed with it. (idea of those images having a nice HIVE logo, still attracts me and looks sympatico!)

Keeping it simple is often the best approach.
It's important to those who consider it important. 😊
