My #HiveTestimony Initiative. More than a testimony, it is my evolution.

The situation in Venezuela in the years 2017 and 2018 is no secret to anyone ... these years were crucial for many people. I was reading @eddiespino post…. And it made me remember the feeling I had at the time. I was a professional without a job, I was studying my second degree and was the mother of Nahuel, who at that moment was only one and a half years old. I really felt frustrated and a failure for not knowing what to do to overcome these difficulties.

Thanks to the help of my husband @joelsegovia, he has always been an example to follow, very entrepreneurial, a great leader. Looking for alternatives to get out of the situation we were going through, he found Steemit. I saw it minute by minute, hour after hour, day after day reading and devouring any information on this platform.

After there, we started in this new world, a world totally unknown to many people. To be honest, I was a bit nervous and I thought it was difficult to understand and dabble in what blockchain technology is.

My first posts were @OriginalWorks contests. It was a truly enriching experience. I learned several things thanks to @joelsegovia and @chrstvn. This was the first step in exploring and knowing that there were endless possibilities.

There was a fact that left me great personal satisfaction and as a consequence a voracious appetite to continue learning and to put aside the comfort zones. This fact was to win the design contest for an exchange ... If I don't remember badly, it's called OnePagex .

With @sthephany we decided to participate there it was a very short time to be able to do something the two of us and we decided to work as a team, that is, to make an animation instead of two ... time was not in our favor but I knew we could achieve something very good ... As the saying goes: "two heads are better than one" and indeed it was. I remember that those days he stayed at my house and we didn't sleep until we finished. It was an unforgettable experience and even more so when we realized that we had won first place in that contest.

Later, we had the idea of creating something to be able to study in a new language that we were learning, which is Mandarin Chinese. The idea of # whale-academy came up, created of course by @joelsegovia. After there we also ventured into Whaleshare, which in certain points is very similar to Steemit ... There I met many people and I was also in several great communities. I met @megaela and @rdsmas ... Great and valuable people who contribute a lot to each project that is proposed. An unforgettable experience.

But like everything in life not rosy. I had to get away and focus on my health, I remember that in 2019 I had a loss (miscarriage) . I was 2 months pregnant when my health was very affected and I had to stop… Many of the people wrote to me showing their support. That is why I say that the quality of a platform is based on the quality of the people who are there. I spend time and I did not publish more I was trying to give him all my love and looking for the best conditions for my son.

My first time after so long

Some will know that @truelovemom is my mother-in-law, an excellent woman! She really inspired me to meet Hive. I remember one day calling me and saying: Mirzan publishes! That day I sat with my cell phone on the table and started writing. And well I came back with a new vision with a new attitude.

My first impression of Hive

My first impression of Hive is a community full of talents, full of enthusiasm and full of new ideas. It is a platform that can achieve everything that is proposed since you have the best developers and above all the conscience to achieve a real change in what it is about the platform for content development.

Passions and talents

To be honest, what I am passionate about, I have not been able to capture it yet since I am relatively new to Hive… I love to sing, dance, exercise, and read about subjects that I am studying and working on. I think it would be great to share this with all of you.

How do I feel about Hive now as a member of this community?

I have really felt very good with a new attitude ... in my other post, I say that in this short time that I have been in Hive I have been able to overcome limitations and fears that I had from Steemit. The fact of always writing something that I think, that offends someone or simply does not understand it is something that caused me to panic. Likewise, making images and editing them for me was something totally unattainable but thanks to the support of @truelovemom I have been able to leave that behind. In the same way, the support I have received from @appreciator has been a fundamental piece of motivation for me.

Bad experiences and recommendations.?

So far I have not had bad experiences in Hive, I think this will be seen over time since I agree with @theycallmedan, it is always good to have negative experiences that help you grow and learn. I don't know if this is a recommendation, I don't know if I need to read more and nurture myself about how Hive works. What I want to express is that there must be something that gives feedback to the platform. Something that the users themselves can substantially contribute to the platform. I always think about what would happen if they stop voting for us? Voting the posts is for me in a way to reward and value the work and effort of each person, but I think there is a point where the platform can survive on its own. Maybe that is crazy, but in every madness, there is an ounce of sanity.

Invitation

I invite my brother, friends and colleagues to enjoy this wonderful experience.
@sergiotorres, @kratos, @junber, @chrstnv, @michelberrios, @amelisfer, @mariabus
