Buenos tardes amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes un delicioso platilla que es original del estado Zulia en Venezuela, conocido como Patacón el cual se hace a base de plátano, pero que se realiza en muchas partes del País y es muy especial para compartir en familia o con las amistades.

Procedimientos para la elaboración del Patacón:

1)Se seleccionan los plátanos, luego se pelan y se cortan a la mitad.
1)Plantains are selected, then peeled and cut in half.
2)Se coloca en la cocina un recipiente con suficiente aceite, cuando este caliente se introducen los plátanos y se dejan hasta que estén aldentes, se sacan y se ponen a escurrir para que pierdan el excedente de aceite.
2)Place a container with enough oil in the kitchen, when it is hot, introduce the plantains and leave them until they are aldente, take them out and put them to drain so that they lose the excess oil.
3)Luego se coloca en una tabla una bolsa plástica uno de los plátanos y por encima otra bolsa plástica y se presiona con otra tabla o con algún recipiente que se considere adecuado, asta que el plátano quede totalmente plano.
3)Then place one of the plantains on a board with a plastic bag and on top of it another plastic bag and press it with another board or with a container that is considered adequate, until the plantain is completely flat.
4)Se procede a colocar nuevamente el plátano en el envase con el aceite y se cocina asta que se considere que esta listo y se ponen a escurrir en una servilleta para que pierdan el excedente de aceite.

5)Se coloca en un plato el plátano, se le agrega la salsa de la preferencia.

6)Se le anexa la ensalada, también se puede elaborar con lechuga y tomate pero en esta ocasión lo hice con Col de Bruselas y Zanahoria.

7)Se anexa la carne distribuida equitativamente sobre la ensalada.

8)Se le coloca queso rallado sobre la carne.

9)Y por ultimo se coloca otro plátano por la parte de arriba parecido a un sándwich y así se confecciona el patacón.
