RE: Hivewatchers Report for November 2021 [466 Reports].

in #hivewatchers3 years ago

I waited the whole month to see the list!

I like the new format where you list the account and the incident. One can see the accounts with view-source in the old format, but it is nice seeing the names of the offending accounts.

I also really like when HiveWatchers leaves notes citing the reason for a downvote. IMHO, the comment section should be the primary avenue for appeal of HiveWatcher rulings since the comment structure is more transparent than a Discord server.

I started listing the discord servers related to HIVE. I've found 18 so far. I suspect that there are dozens more.

I find the policy of encouraging people to use discord servers to form strategies for using HIVE to be disconcerting. HiveWatchers seeks to improve the platform. There is nothing to prevent people who want to game the system from creating discord servers to manipulate the system.

I love that HIVE is experimenting with Decentralized Proof of Stake Governance. But for DPOS to work, the discussions must be transparent. We all saw what can happen when power players like Justin Sun form secret plans to capture the platform.

Anyway, I was waiting all month to see this list.

I was thrown on the @spaminator DV system last month for some unknown transgression and I was hoping to discover the reason why.
