Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt as just a citizen.
One thing I know is that our choice or decision is capable of ruining us or building us. I find out that we keep hiding from the truth even when the truth hurts. Before making decisions, it is necessary to put certain things into consideration because once a decision is made, it cannot be redone. My mom will always tell me one wrong decision you made can affect people in the future, and the pain is so unbearable when you look at the society today; poor citizens are really struggling and suffering over a decision that has been made by past government.
Just like there are some countries that have been fighting for the past years now and are still fighting, there is no doubt that the situation is affecting everyone in that country. Every citizen in such countries is living in fear; they can’t move freely, the economy of the country is affected, and there is loss of life and property. There is this popular saying, 'There is no smoke without fire,' and when you look into it, there are people behind it, and it’s our leaders.
People that come up with this adage, ‘As you make your bed, so shall you lie on it’, are not wrong. It pains me that all the citizens benefit from the leaders. The suffering part is when they are busy embezzling the money; they don’t think about the welfare of the decisions, and when they make the wrong decision, the citizens face it.
It is very bad that citizens are suffering because of the decisions made by the leaders. We have seen a situation where a leader of a country made a decision, and the people suffering from it are the poor citizens who know nothing about their decisions. I keep telling people not everyone is meant to be a leader because for you to be a leader, you should know that there are many responsibilities on your shoulders and be kind about the decisions you make, knowing full well that any decisions you make can either build or destroy your country.
The bitter truth is that the consequences of their decisions don’t affect them or the people who made the decisions with them, but the innocent citizens suffer it. This made me ask why citizens will always be the ones suffering because of the decisions of the leaders in my country. We, the citizens, are really suffering because of certain decisions made by the leaders of my country.
I am always hurt that whenever there are leadership problems, people who made that decision are not involved, but the poor masses who are suffering to make ends meet are the people suffering for the wrong of the leaders. Citizens deserve a good life and not to live life based on the errors made by the government.
It is very wrong that the citizens are victimised by the wrong made by the government. I don’t see any reason the citizens should suffer because of the wrong decision made by the leaders. Indeed, the majority of the decisions affect the citizens, and there is little or nothing the citizens can do.

My sister???? Nigeria matter is so depressing eh. Since last week I have been scarce on web2 because everywhere you turn one bad news or another.
I don't know why citizens should suffer or get punished for their leaders mistakes. Even in Ezekiel 18:20 says the person or people who sin should die not the innocent people. Instead of punishing our leaders, we are the one suffering for the mistakes of our leaders. After all, we are not the one who signed for any war or sitting in a high chair in their office. We the citizens are struggling looking for how to survive, provide for our family,not that we should be punished.
