This week isn't going to be pretty...
I was talking to @richardtaylor this morning and laughed when I told him I was going to write the HODL challenge post for the week....
The markets looked...Scary 😱
With all the news and government drama going on with crypto I expect things to get worst before they get better short term...
BUT!!!
Long term, is where my mind set is...So HODL HODL HODL is my goal :)
Let's dive in and see where the markets left us this week...
VeChain (VEN)
One of our best performers this week and remarkably at the time of this blog post, VeChain is actually up over the past 24 hours. Still a small loss from last week's $3.97 but we're at $3.91 right now. A top tiered coin with some big upside, let's see how we do this week...
Power Ledger (POWR)
Even Steven! Power Ledger is currently sitting at $0.45 a token the same as it was last week. With this HODL challenge I'm always looking for a project that has the opportunity to change the world long term and Power Ledger could be that project. I'm really excited about it's future and potential!
Simple Token (OST)
A loss of 6 cents saw Simple Token go from 23 cents a token to 17 cents. This platform is intriguing but I'm not sure it'll be a candidate for us to hold after the month is up. Let's be brutally honest...While it's not the exact same thing, I'm much more excited about the SMT's than a project like Simple Token. Home is where the heart is :)
App Coins (APPC)
This thing keeps tanking but everything seems to be in the latest bloodbath on the markets. We bought in at 70 cents and it's lost almost half it's value while it sits at 37 cents a coin. Great idea and technology but again, the markets rarely move because of the tech. It's all emotion...
Cindicator (CND)
Another one that almost lost half it's value when we bought in on March 1st. I'm telling you! Crypto is not for the weak. Originally purchased at 12 cents a token, it's sitting at 7 cents at the time of this writing. Again, same story...Great tech, emotional market.
So putting it all together, we are sitting at a total of $69.65 worth of coins and tokens from our original $101.35 investment.
Not pretty but hey, it can always be worse :)
I'm looking long term always on this experiment and I'm really excited about Power Ledger to be honest. It's the most disruptive project we are holding this month and I'm rooting for it to grow in the next few weeks!
Let's see how it goes, and keep holding! 💪

Thanks man, appreciate the comments always! Yeah I mean the real test will be which coin / token we choose from this month and then compare it at the end of the year to see where we are. The monthly thing is kinda a proving ground. It allows me to follow the development team for each project and see what they do and how they are moving forward.

I was anticipating this week's results. The market has been a tad bit hectic, to say the least!
Like Jon, I am looking at the long-term results of this experiment. Sure, we may be down today, but where will the coin we select at the end of the month be in December?
Just the experience gained over the past three months has made this worth the time and expense. I am as excited as ever for the future of crypto and see nothing but good things coming.
Let's rock the bottom of the market and position ourselves for the growth to come!

Good post - it's pretty brutal out there at the moment. Power Ledger is looking like a bit of a bargain right now but it could be a long-haul back. Need to see some more direction first imho
