Spiezm a wonderful town by the side of Lake Thun would be my area of exploration for the next few days and I was excited to get out and about. Taking a new area by the horns so to speak, it was time to set out and visit all the wonderful places I had read about over the last few months.
Reading, researching and learning a little more than usual is often the best way for me to immerse myself in to the travel adventures that I have come to love over the years. Oberhofen Castle would be one of the priority visits during my time here as I had read much about how the medieval castle stands on beautiful waters near the lake. I could only imagine how beautiful the site must have been all those years ago.
