I'm not sure what's going on here, but you shouldn't worry about what others do or say about you. If you fell for some reason to take a break from here the go for it, but don't do it cause you feel someone is making that choice for you.
After all we all have a right to be here just no right to cause problems for others. So you do you my friend and don't worry about the bullies.
And if this guy is really stealing intellectual property then he will be caught so let it go!
